Professional Profile: Art Teacher and Artist

I am a qualified art teacher and practising artist with comprehensive training from Central Saint Martins College of Art, London College of Fashion, and the London Institute of Education—ranked first in the world for teaching. With over 15 years of teaching experience in several inner-city London schools and a top North London school, I have a proven track record of fostering artistic talent and creativity in my students.

In 2012, I founded Art House Ealing, where I offer after-school fine art and holiday painting lessons for students aged 8 to 18. My dynamic lessons are designed to enhance artistic skills and inspire creativity, instilling a deep appreciation for art movements and influential artists from the past and present.

Throughout my career:

  • I have successfully facilitated art workshops within the local community, hospitals, and mental health charities.

  • I educate students on various creative methodologies, introducing them to a wide range of techniques and mediums, with structured lessons that build confidence in children of all abilities.

  • I have assisted numerous students in gaining scholarships to leading independent schools.

  • I have consistently helped Year 11 and Year 13 students achieve excellent grades in their Art GCSE and A-Level exams.

  • Each year, one or more of my art students get their work into the Royal Academy Young Artists' Summer Show.

At Art House Ealing, I provide a nurturing environment that encourages artistic growth and self-expression. My focus is on developing both technical skills and creative thinking, ensuring that my lessons complement the GCSE and A-Level curriculum, with targeted help for coursework.

As a professional artist, I use a wide array of artistic mediums and have exhibited my works in galleries nationwide, showcasing versatility and depth in my artistic expression.

My teaching philosophy centres on the belief that every child has the potential to excel in art, given the right guidance and encouragement. Through carefully structured lessons and a passion for art education, I aim to inspire the next generation of artists and creative thinkers.
